Document distribution made easy

While every aspect of our working life is becoming increasingly more digital, there are still a number of departments and professions that primarily rely on paper. One prime example for this: payroll management. Many companies still print payslips and manually mail them to their employees – a time-consuming process, particularly in large institutions and organizations. Meet e-payslip, an innovative AI-powered solution from the Austrian postal service (Österreichische Post). Leveraging cutting-edge technology, it allows companies to automate the digital distribution of payslips and other documents – giving employees access anytime, anywhere.

How it works

e-payslip is aimed at institutions with a large percentage of blue collar workers, i.e. employees not working at a computer – for example within the healthcare sector. The innovative platform enables employers to fully manage their payroll online, while employees can digitally receive important documents such as payslips, contracts, or expense notes – all while ensuring the highest security standards and adhering to strict data protection policies.

Once the documents are created in the company’s internal system, they are automatically uploaded to the portal. Employees are then notified via e-mail and can easily access their documents at any time for up to seven years. And best of all: As it is designed as a plug-and-play self-service, e-payslip is easy to implement and use – eliminating the need for elaborate onboardings.

The Big Picture

Safely distributing sensitive documents like pay checks or contracts is a vital part of everyday corporate life, but also a time-consuming one. Automating this step and similar administrative tasks helps companies save time, costs and resources. It also streamlines internal processes and allows employees to focus on other important tasks, increasing productivity and overall efficiency across departments and entire organizations. Moreover, it is a simple, but highly effective step towards a paperless world – for a greener, more sustainable future.
