On behalf of the Lower Austria Economic Chamber, the economic research institute Economica has developed an innovative tool with the data dashboard that fulfills exactly this task: it consolidates large amounts of industry-relevant data, structures it, and presents it in a clear, accessible format. The result: a solid foundation for strategic decision-making—both internally and externally—and a new level of transparency.

How it works
The Data Dashboard continuously collects a wide range of relevant economic data from various sources and consolidates it on a central platform. The data is updated frequently and presented visually in an intuitive way, so that trends, developments, and interconnections are immediately recognizable.
A central example of its application is the Construction Industry Radar, where industry-specific key figures are tracked promptly and at a high frequency, enabling rapid responses to new developments—for instance, when designing funding instruments or identifying potential bottlenecks.
The platform can be flexibly adapted to the needs of different target groups: while internal decision-makers at the Chamber of Commerce can use detailed monitoring and analysis functions, industry representatives, media, or interested citizens can quickly access current data without complex research or extensive evaluations.
